According to Christianity, individuals or communities must have a more profound desire for justice and peace for all God’s creations. God’s creations (all creations) deserve peace and justice to lead a better life every day. And, when it comes to taking the lead in this direction, Christian spiritual formation comes into the picture. Basically, it is all about realizing, following, and adopting one fact that all people are created equal in the image of God. This feeling, and emotion, requires working together, helping, caring, and respecting others while developing spiritual formation for justice and peace making and building.

You must have read or heard terms like’ spiritual direction, ‘discipleship’, and ‘spiritual formation.’ Actually, these terms are now being used in conversations very frequently. Mentioning these terms in conversations is one thing, but having actual, correct and complete knowledge about these terms and understanding the exact meaning of those terms is certainly different. In simple words, spiritual direction refers to a relationship between a person seeking a more Christ-like life. It is a relationship between two persons. Out of two, one is who serves as a listening companion to the journey of growing deeper in their relationship with God. Currently, when individuals or communities keep the focus on maturing one’s faith in the context of the particular briefs and values of a faith community, we call it discipleship. And spiritual formation focuses on the deepening of one’s relationship with God, which is at center for spiritual formation.

Betterment of society, community and individuals, and the betterment of the World as a whole, it is necessary that we should come together, work together, step ahead together for peacemaking.
